NEW PROJECT OF N.C.C.

“Coffee Hours” For Women The success of a “coffee hour” held by the Christchurch women’s committee of the National Council of Churches in July has prompted the organisers to hold two more to give women of all denominations the opportunity to become acquainted. The theme of both morning meetings, to be held at the Trinity Congregational Church Hall, will be “Knowing Each Other.” Four speakers at each meeting will represent the eight denominations affiliated to the council. Each will state briefly the beliefs and viewpoint of his church; after which time will be allowed for discussion. The first of these interdenominational women’s sessions will be held on Tuesday morning.
