Men's Slacks To Be Top Fashion?
Slacks, which in the past have been regarded as ar. extra in men’s wardrobes, will be top fashion for New Zealand men this summer, says the “Retailer." One leading menswear specialist predicted that the plain grey “uniform” of past years would be discarded by mature men in favour of neat checks, the magazine says. Younger men would choose gayer checks and plain shades in light colours. Fabrics used would be terylene and linen mixtures, and an acrylic silk blending. pure wools and wool combir ed with terylene would continue to be used. Emphasis would be on casual, rather than conservative styling.
