The British television personality, Sarah Leighton. and a woman friend, Pat Jenkins, were chased by South African police as they drove through Transkei Bantustan yesterday after someone reported they were handing out pamphlets to African children. They were allowed to continue their journey when Miss Leighton explained that she had not been handing out pamphlets—only peppermints.
