13th Squash Win For Tourists
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) September 10 The New Zealand squash team won its thirteenth match in Australia when it beat Newcastle, 3-1 last night. Results (New Zealand names first):—C. Waugh lost to K. Binns, 2-9, 9-7, 9-2, 9-2; G. Bird beat G. Ryan, 9-5, 9-7, 9-1; J. Walker beat K. Bender, 10-9, 9-2, 1-9. 4-9, 9-4; I. Easton beat J. Burgess. 9-10. 9-6, 9-5, 9-1.
Ground Subsidy.—A subsidy of £lOO was made by the Canterbury Rugby Union at its meeting on Tuesday to the Marist club to help with the cost of its new lighted training ground.
