Springfield, on Tuesday, October 1. 1963. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by trie Counties Act, 1956. and the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1956, and of all other powers thereinto enabling, the Tawera County Council doth hereby by Special Order resolve to borrow the sum of £2OOO by way of loan to be known as Housing Loan No. 2. 1963. for the purpose of building a dwellinghouse for an employee of the County. THAT the security for such loan shall be a Special Rate of .00515 d in the £ upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the County of Tawera. THAT the term of the loan shall be for a period of fifteen years and interest thereon shall be at a rate not exceeding five and three-eighths per cent per annum. ATTENTION is drawn to Section 34 of the Local Authorities Loan Act, 1956, which provides that before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution to raise the special loan, not less than 5 per cent of the ratepayers whose names are inscribed on the ratepayers’ roll of the County, may. by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the local authority, demand that a poll be taken on the proposal.
