Dutch Presbyterians And Reformed

The Dutch Presbyterian community bad always sought to have some contact with the Dutch people of the Reformed Churches of New Zealand, the minister of the Dutch congelation (the Rev. G. W. Van Tricht) reported to the Chris'church Presbytery last evening. The Presbyterian congregation had shared Christmas services with members of the Reformed Churches, and now they wished to celebrate Communion services with them some time in the future.

“We cannot honestly celebrate Christmas together if we do not want, at some future time, to unite at the Communion table.” said Mr Van Tricht. Members at Presbytery expressed encouragement to Mr Van Tricht and members of the Dutch congregation, as an integral part of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. in their approaches to the Reformed Churches for closer reJataouahips.
