Admiration Or Scorn (N2. Press Association) AUCKLAND, September 10. Torso 11, the 950gns bronze by Barbara Hepworth, brought a stream of people to the Auckland Art Gallery today—some to admire, some to scorn, some out of curiosity. David Tomory, aged 13, son of the director of the art gallery. Mr P. A Tomory. kept a count of the visitors. Between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. the number was 1520 An average number for attendance at the gallery when there was no special exhibition showing would be 200 to 300, said a staff member.
