Wairarapa defeated Rangitikei 4-0 in the minor section final for the Mills Cup. North beat South. 3-2 in the major inter-island game. H Walker and D. Kerr scored for South. In the minor game North drew, 1-all. with South.

About 350 million one cent coins are missing in Holland and the State mint in Utrecht is working at full capacity to relieve the small coin shortage.
