LOGISTICS TALKS
Three To Go From N.Z. (N.Z. Press Association) ■ WELLINGTON, Sept. 2. Representatives of the three services would attend the fifth meeting of the S.E.A.T.O. logistics committee in Bangkok, the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) announced today. The meeting will be held at S.E.A.T.O. headquarters. Bangkok, commencing tomorrow and running through to September 13. Those who will represent New Zealand are Squadron Leader W. R. Duncan, the leader, Lieutenant-Comman-der I. S. Monro, and Major J. W. Manson. Mr Eyre said the agenda would embrace the many logistics aspects related to military planning for the defence of the treaty areas. The last meeting of the S.E.A.T.O. logistics committee was held in Bangkok in January 1961.
