Otago Halts Unbeaten Run
(N Z Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. August 28 Great defensive play by the touring Otago Rugby team enabled it to break Manawatu's unbeaten record this season at Palmerston North today. A good try by P. J. Morrissey gave Otago an 11-9 win. all the points being scored in the first spell. Morrissey and D W. Clarke scored tries for Otago and E. S. Diack kicked a conversion and a field goal. Manawatu's points came from tries by R H Horsley and D McCaskie. and K. Macmillan kicked a penaltv goal.
