Perjury Charge Admitted
(N.Z. Press Association) • NEW PLYMOUTH. Aug. 27. A witness in last w eek s Supreme Court trial of Douglas Keith Beale on a charge of arson, today pleaded guilty in the New Plymouth Magistrate's Court before Messrs J H Irving and E. A Soper Justices of the Peace, to a charge of perjury, relating to that trial. Brian William Bulman. aged 37, an unemployed presser. pleaded guilty at the conclusion of police evidence. Bulman was convicted and committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
