TO STUDY IN BRITAIN
Canterbury Science Graduate Three years’ study at a British agricultural college will be undertaken by a graduate of the University of Canterbury under a new training scheme of the Department of Agriculture. Mr P. D. Thompson, who graduated as a bachelor of science last year, will study for his diploma of poultry technology at the Harper Adams Agricultural College, Shropshire. ' Mr Thompson will leave Auckland for England today, and will begin his course there at the commencement of the British university year in> September. Before going overseas he made an extensive tour of New Zealand poultry farms. Mt Thompson is married, and his wife hopes to teach in England while they are overseas.
