Warships To Exercise

(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY. Aug. 26. Ships of the Australian and British navies left Sydney today for exercises off the Queensland coast. About 2500 officers and men are taking part. On their way to Harvey Bay, Queensland, the ships will exercise in anti-submar-ine warfare. An amphibious operation with the carrier. Sydney, which has 3000 troops aboard, will be staged at Harvey Bay. H.M.S. Royalist, with the Royal Navy submarines Trump and Tabard, will take part in the exercises.
