Two-Man Relay Record
A record for the annual two-man relay race in Greymouth was established by C. McDonnel and D. Taylor (Greymouth) on Saturday. Their time for the 16 miles was 75min 14.3 sec. B. Curie and K. Conn el (Shirley) were second and S. Payne and G. T. Wilson (Olympic) third. J. Mcßrearty and B. T. Welch (Ashburton) won the junior race over 13 miles.
