ANNIVERSARY NEXT MAY
South Intermediate 25 Years Old The twenty-fifth anniversary of the Christchurch South Intermediate School will be celebrated next May and a committee has been elected to prepare for it. One of the major tasks facing the committe is compiling mailing lists from school rolls and locating addresses of persons who have been associated with the school. A recent fire at the school destroyed many early photographs. The committee requests that any former pupil who has not heard from the school should get in touch with the chairman, Mr H. Bolland, of 46 Fairfield avenue, or by writing to the school’s anniversary committee. The celebrations planned for the jubilee include a ball in the Addington tea kiosk, an afternoon roll-call at the school, a dinner and conversazione, and a church parade.
