Motor-Cyclist Killed

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 21. A young man was killed today when the motor-cycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a truck on Beach road. He was Peter Raymond Kelly, aged 17, single, a driver, of 60 Virginia avenue. Kingsland. The accidem occurred about noon and Mr Kelly died soon after being taken to hospital.

Officer Hart.— A United States Navy lieutenant was wounded seriously by Communist small arms fire while landing with a Vietnamese naval party 190 miles north of Saigon. It was the first American naval casualty ir the long guerrilla war ir South Vietnam.—Saigon Aug 19.
