Newcomer At Riccarton
R. B. Taggart has started as a public trainer at Riccarton, and is preparing the former North Islander, Charlborough, for three-year-old racing. Charlborough, which had two races from W. J. Bromby’s Trentham stable last season, will do his future racing for Mr H. Morgan, of Greymouth. Myrtis, dam of Charlborough, also left Spartacus. which showed much promise in his early racing. Charlborough has good size and he might make an early return for the patient policy adopted with him in his first season.
