Course In New Developments A course designed to enlarge tlie theoretical knowledge of television servicemen, technicians and engineers, will be held in Christchurch late this month and early next month. The course, which will take the form of four lectures, is being organised by the Adult Education Department of the University of Canterbury. The series will not attemjrt to deal with specific servicing problems nor will it deal with the adjustment" of indtiyidual makes or models. The executive tutor in the department (Mr I. G. Clark) says new developments in electronics tend to leave people behind and this course is intended bo bridge the gap. The lectures will be given by Mr B. T. Withers and held in Room D at the University of Canterbury. The department’s course on transistors last year was attended by l!>0 persons and about the same number are expected to attend this course.
