Pedestrian’s Death In March A widow’s claim for £ 10.000 damages from a motorist Whose car was alleged to have struck her husband and caused his death in Wilsons road on March 9 this year was settled out of court after the jury had been empanelled yesterday morning. The trial did not begin. Dorothy Margaret McLean (Mr R. A. Young, with him Mr P. G. S. Penlington) claimed £lO.OOO general damages and £63 5s 8d special damages from John William Francis (Mr J. G. Legga'). an insurance agent Her husband, Peter Moon McLean. aged 27, was a tipman.
