REV. H. PARAONE

(N.Z Press Association) KAITAIA. August 19. Tie Rev. Henare Paraone died in the Kaitaia Hospital this morning. A Church of England minister, be had been stationed in the far north since 1931. Mr Paraone was said to be the finest preacher in the Maori church, and the most brilliant orator on the marae. His tangi is in progress at his home settlement of Waimanoni, and his funeral at Awanui will probably be conducted by the Bishop of Aotearoa (ths Rt, Rev. W. H. Panapa).
