From left: An emerald green coat makes the foil for a black straw boater and black accessories; a white bowler, banded in black patent and finished with a black and white check underbrim, is worn with a black fur-trimmed suit; an old gold coat, with fashionable hip-line seaming, is teamed with a wide-brimmed matching hat with a paler gold trim, and dark brown accessories.
