"Sideshow Alley"
For most people, a visit to the Industries Fair would not be complete without the spending of some money at “Sideshow Alley.” The urge to try the skill, or the luck, at a variety of sideshows will again ensure that there is also plenty of attention being paid to the competing sounds of the barkers.
There will be fun for all on the ferris wheel, the octopus, the merry-go-round and the Various roundabouts. Thrills and chills in the ghost train.
An inestimable number of ping-pong balls will be hopefully dropped down the eager throats of painted heads, and guns will be fired and darts thrown ad infinitum.
In addition to the pro-fessionally-sponsored tryyour - luck - and - your-skill shows, there will be the usual number of amateur
projects sponsored by a wide variety of worthy causes. Chocolate wheels will spin their merry way before the upturned faces of
the hopeful—balls will be thrown at a variety of targets—coins will be thrown with hope of multiplied return and skittles will be skittled.
