Information Centre

The Labour Department’s information centre at the Industries Fair will provide a valuable insight into many aspects of industrial and other activity in Canterbury. The centre will feature a series of photographs of these activities,- and members of the staff of the department will be in attendance to answer questions. There will also be a display of weights and measures and weighing gear, and another section of the exhibit will show a pneumatic press and spindle moulder, correctly guarded. These machines have been chosen because they illustrate the danger which can come to workmen who are not paying proper attention to their tools. Continuous films on industrial safety will also be shown.
