Canterbury will have another Player. R. Rodgers, attending the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's coaching school from August 26 to 31. HU application has been acf,e pt ed tn addition to those ot J. Martin. B * ll an<l J Coombs. A Christchurch Technical College pupil. Rodgers was fourth on the under 17 Canterbury boys’ list Issued by the Junior management committee last season. He reached the quarter-finals of senior singles and doubles at the secondary schools' titles, the quarter-finafa of the singles, and the semifinals of the doubles in the under 17 section of the Canterbury Junior championships, and the third round ot the national under 17 singles.
