Griffith, equalled a performance last achieved 24 years ago when he took his 100th wicket of the tour against Northamptonshire yesterday. The last West Indian fast bowler to reach a century of wickets was Learie Contantlne in 1930. Griffith later took two more wickets to finish with three for 37. The top score in the county's total of 223 was a century in 198 minutes by C. Milburn, a test candidate at the beginning of the season. In reply. West Indies had lost one wicket for 10 at the close.
