The Australian girls won the title by two points from New Zealand, with England third. Australia was undefeated in 10 matches. New Zealand scored the highest number of goals—7ll to 191 against. New Zealand closed its programme with its ninth victory, by 73-23 over West Indies. The first quarter ended 21-9, the second 41-12, and the third 58-17.

Other final day results were:—England 46, Trinidad 18; Wales 58, Northern Ireland 26; Jamaica 46, South Africa 27; Scotland 39, Ceylon 34.
