Proteins Not Essential

The widely-held belief that proteins are essential in the diet ot heavy manual workers and athletes was shattered by am American profes9;ir addressing the Inte-na-tocnal Congress of Nutrition in Professor J Mayer, of Boston, saiid. “If you like proleins you can eat as much as you want, but there is no necessity tor it."
