LECTURE ON ALCOHOLISM
U.S. Authority To Visit City
An American authority on the problems of alcoholism will give a public lecture during his visit to Christchurch this month. He is Dr. L. A. Senseman, a member of the American National Committee for the Prevention of Alcoholism. and chairman of the advisory council of the State Division of Alcoholism for Rhode Island. Dr. Senseman will arrive in Christchurch on August 24 after attending a meeting of the Australian Institute of Scientific Studies for the Prevention of Alcoholism. He will give a public lecture on August 25. Dr. Senseman is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Psychiatric Association.
