Factors House Sold To A.M.P.
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyngnt) MELBOURNE, August 9 AVUUUV7K IF* mv Stanhill Group off Companies (Mr S. Korman) today announced that Factors House, Melbourne, had been sold to the A.M.P. Society for £750,000. The secretary of Factors Ltd. (Mr W. D. Phillips) notified the Stock Exchange that the net proceeds of the sale, together with other money the company expected to receive “at an early date,” would be sufficient to completely repay the Bank of New Zealand and remove the receiver (Mr K. H. Vial) appointed by the bank.
