Collision Near Oamaru

(N.Z. Press Association) OAMARU, August 4 An apprentice electrician, of Weston, near Oamaru, was killed instantly and two Dunedin men were injured when their cars collided on the Weston-Deborah road just before 2 am. today. The youth killed was

Lindsay George Harvey, aged 18. a son of Mr and the late Mrs A. L Harvey, of Weston, four miles west of Oamaru.

The men injured are Tudor Nicholas Bokser, of 133 York place, Dunedin, bruising of the chest, condition not serious; James Donaldson, of John street, Green Island Dunedin, fractured ribs and possible internal injuries and shock, condition fair.

It appears the cars met head-on, apparently on a straight stretch of road. Harvey was the driver of one car and Bokser drove the other.
