BEQUESTS TO CHARITY

Bequests to five charitable organisations are made in the vrill of Emma Mabel Connelly, a widow, who died in Christcihurch on July 11. Probate of the will was granted in the Supreme Court at under £2lOO.

The bequests include £lOO to the Social Services Council of the Diocese of ChristChurch for its home for the aged, and £5O each to St. Faith’s Anglican Church, the Nurse Maude District Nursing Assoiaithon, and the Lepers’ Trust Board. The residue off the estate, after private bequests totallinig £275, is left to Dr. Batrnerdb’s Homes, London, on trust.

Frances Jessie Ward, who dlied ait Blenheim on July 5, has bequeathed £lOO each to the Anglican Board of Missions, the Salivation Array, ana St. Faith’s Church.
