Shield Won By Christchurch

Christchurch won the Canterbury and Westland Jaycees' regional shield in the annual golf tournament held at the Ashburton golf course yesterday Christchurch, who also won the shield last year, scored an aggregate of 301. Results were:—

Senior.—Gross: A. Donaldson 76; runner-up, P.’ Shutt, 79. Medal: J. Barton, net 74; run-ner-up R. Crawford. 75 net. Stableford: J. McAusland, 33 points; runner-up. G. Niven. 32. Intermediate. —Gross: J Graham, 90; runner-up. E. South. 90. Medal: R. Gaulter, 66 net: runner-up. P. Thaine. 74 net. Stableford: D. Aitken, 31 points; runner-up, K. Dale, 31 points. Junior.—Gross: R. Elliot. 100: runner-up. E. Maw. 106. Medal: R Hester, 81 net; runner-up, D Hooper. 81. Stableford: J Owen. 31 points: runner-up. B Newburgh. 28 points.
