N.Z. BAND TOUR

Planned Visit To U.S.

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 4.

The Dunedin group responsible for the visit of the New Zealand brass band to Holland last year is now working on a project to send another band to the United States and Canada —to promote good will for the Dominion.

Widespread interest has been shown by organisations Members of the band would be chosen from throughout the Dominion.

Every opportunity will be taken to have members of the band stay in private homes and offer reciprocal invitations to New Zealand. The Government will be asked to make some contribution to the cost of transport.
