Foundation Gains

A aet gain of £456 was made •by ’jhe Canterbury Medical Research Foundation from the charity film pemiere of “PTlC9'' s>t the Regent Theatre last week. the secretary of the foundation’s appeal committee (Mr R. It is larger and much thicker than the present penny and is in good condition Mr Banks has a halfpenny dated 1775 He brought the coins back from England in 1918 Mrs F. J Anniss. of Pages mad. has a farthing dared 1754 A resident of Templeton has an 1807 penny.
