Old Sixpence
A coin 147 years old was found in a Waimate resident's garden this week. A sixpence bearing the head of George HI and the date 1616, it has seen much wear, but the head and surrounding inscription stands out clearly.
The cupola of an observatory near Tartu, Estonia, has been made of fibreglass.
