£213 Profit For Year A profit of £213 was made by the Metoven Trotting Club for the year ending May 31, says the president (Mr A. T. Smith) in his report, which will be presented at its annual meeting this evening. “This is very satisfactory considering that £2OOO was spent on maintenance and £734 charged to depreciation,” he said. As nominations for of-lcers and committee did not exceed the vacancies no election will be necessary. Mr Smith was re-elected president Other officers elected were; Vice-presidents. Messrs J A. McDonald and A. S. Milne: stewards and committee. Messrs G Anderson. R Harris, D. S Harrison, H. J Harrison. T. D Harrison, D. G. Holmes. G D. Kelly. D. W. Le. ion, R M. May. E. J. McCloy. J. B McKendry. J. H. McKendrv. J. C. Nordquist, J. W. Thomas and president and two vice-presidents.
