Company News AUDITOR’S PROTEST

Reid Murray Action (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, July 29 Fuller, King and Company, auditor for Reid Murray Holdings. Ltd., has told the Acting-Premier (Mr Rylah) that it takes the ‘’strongest exception” to the removal of its report to shareholders from each copy of the group's accounts. The auditor said the documents had been removed without knowledge or authority. Fuller, King and Company said the group accounts were printed in its offices from drafts signed for identification by the company’s chief accountant. “They were then bound in our covers with copies of our separate audit reports on the consolidated accounts of the group and on the accounts of the parent company,” the audit firm said. AU of these documents constituted its capital report to the company’s shareholders.
