£59 Awarded For Liquor Loss

(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, July 25. In a reserved judgment in the Magistrate’s Court at invercargiilll today, Mr J. K. Patterson, S.M., allowed William Edgar Hazlett, a sheep farmer, and James Luke Hazlett, a retired farmer, damages of £59 Is against the Attorney-General for liquor lost while in transit from Dunedin to Lorneville by the railways. The Hazletts claimed from the Attorney-General the sum of £ll5 ss. which, it was alleged, was the loss they suffered th,rough the loss of the liquor.
