Army Chaplains To Confer

The first annual camp for Territorial Army chaplains to be held in the South Island will take place at Burnham Military Camp on July 30 and 31. Eighteen chaplains will attend, among them the Dean of Christchurch (the Very Rev. W. A. Pyatt), the Rev. T. P. Cloher (Bryndwr), the Rev. A. A. Purchas (Linwood), and the Rev. M. L. Underhill (Fendalton). Also attending will be the Regular Force chaplain at Trentham Camp (the Rev. D. Cameron) in his capacity as secretary of the Dominion Chaplains’ Advisory Council. The conference will be assisted by the commander of Burnham Camp (LieutenantColonel R. E. Johnston).
