£70 Taken From Safe

(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, July 24. The fourth safe break in a month in Whangarei occurred last night when between £7O and £BO in cash was taken from toe safe of Hardie Bros., Ltd., in Walton street. Entry into the building was gained through forcing the lock of a rear door. The safe, measuring about 3ft by 2ft, was opened by tearing the bottom off. It had been dragged through to the back of the building from the office.
