A GUARD OF HONOUR OF TOKELAU ISLANDERS being inspected by Lieutenant-Commander D. J. Cheney, captain of H.M.N.Z.S. Retoiti, when the frigate visited Fakaofu, in the Tokelau group, during her . recent Pacific cruise. The smartly turned-out guard was a surprise to the Ritoiti’s officers and men. Twenty strong and locally trained, the members of the guard later gave a demonstration of rifle drill and marching.
