Decentralisation In Britain
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON. July 21. x The British Government has decided to transfer a substantial number of civil servants from the centre of London to the outer suburbs and into the provinces. It is part of a dispersal plan which, in a few years, will probably leave only a little more than half the headquarters staff of Government departments in central London.
