League TOUR OF N.I.
Canterbury Players
Tlie 18 players selected to represent Canterbury on the North Island tour were announced at last evening's meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League Board of Control.
One member, P. White (Linwood), will be in Wellington until the day of departure, and will Join the team at Wellington.
The tour will consist of a match against Auckland at Carlaw Park on August 17, and a game against Waikato at Huntly the following day.
The , team is:—Backs: P. Tongud (Hornby), P. White (Linwood), K. Harding (Sydenham), B. Langton (Hornby), C. Preece (Marist), P. Skerton (Hornby), J. Walshe (Marist), J. Bray (Hornby), J. A. Bond (Papanui), and R. Irvine (Marist). Forwards: M. L. Cooke (Hornby). R. Turton (Chrsitchureh), I. Drayton (Hornby), M. Mohi (Marist), G. Cooper . (Marist), G. Turner (Papanui). J. H. Fisher (Linwood), B. T. Barron (Sydenham).
