March .And Meeting

Planned

Hiroshima Day will be observed by the Christchurch branch of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament on Sunday, August 4, and a march and meeting will be held, a meeting of the branch was told recently. The march will start at 2 p.m. from Latimer square and proceed via Worcester street and the Square to the Museum, and back to Cranmer square, where the meeting will be held. The day will be observed on August 4, instead of Augus’ 8. to make it possible for families to attend. Plans for children in the march to carry balloons with slogans or the C.N.D. emblem on them were discussed by the meeting.
