When Parliament resumed yesterday morning, the reports of the. National Airways Corporation, the Marine Department, and the Nataonal Gallery and Dominion Museum were tabled. Mr R M. Macferiane (Opposition, Christchurch Central) gave notice that he woul d i ntr oduce the Christchurch Tramways District Amendment Bill. In the Budget debate, the speakers were:— Government. Messrs H. E. L Pickering (Hurunui), H. Johnston (Waipawa), D. J. Carter (Raglan), and G. F. Sim (Waikato). Opposition.—Messrs P. Blanchfield (Westland), M. Raila (Northern Maori), Miss M. B. Howard (Sydenham). Mr W. A. Fraser (St. Kilda).
