Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 9. The Consumer Council recovered only £74 from the resale of £2398 worth of articles it purchased for testing last financial year. This, says the Controller and Auditor-General (Mr A. D. Burns) was mainly because the appliances were tested practically to destruction
Mr Burns says the council’s income from subscriptions and other sources was £23.168, and expenditure amounted to £12.760.
