EQUESTRIAN FOUR SELECTED
Pre-Olympic Event In Tokyo (N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE July 8. Four New Zealand horses and riders will compete in a preOlympic six-day international sports meeting in Tokyo, starting on October 11. The team is Sabrina, owned and ridden by Miss S. Duncan (Taihape), Tire Saint. Miss C. Law (Gisborne), Cyclone. Mr P. Sherriff (Tolaga Bay), and Raro, owned by Mr C. Bolgar (Hastings), and ridden by M W. Meech (Hawke's Bay). Mr B G. Rutherford, of Canterbury. will be the team manager The horses and male riders will leave for Japan early in August and the women rider* will travel by air later.
