Squash S.I. Team Chosen
At the conclusion of the Canterbury squash rackets championships in Christchurch yesterday, the sole South Island selector, Mr W. A. Green, announced the South Island team. In playing order it is: G. L. Bird (Timaru), M. J. Simons (Christchurch), K. R. Green, F. N. Coe (both of Timaru), and G. A. Davidson (Christchurch). The New Zealand squash team to tour Australia in August and September will be selected following the inter-island match, at Palmerston North, beginning on July 19.
