MANUREWA SEAT

Sir Leon Gotz Applies (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 7. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Sir Leon Gotz, confirmed today that he was applying for the National Party nomination for the new Manurewa seat at the General Election in November. Sir Leon Gotz has represented Manukau since the constituency was created in 1954. The boundaries were considerably altered in the recent revision by the Representation Commission. "Manurewa includes much of the electorate I have represented for many years.” Sir Leon Gotz said. The party nominations for the seat close on July 17. Nominations for the National Party candidate for Manukau will close on July 22
