Swab Not Yet Analysed "The Press” Special Service WANGANUI, July 5. The Wanganui galloper Acis has made a good recovery from the effects of a suspected attempt to dope him. Last month he' was discovered in a distressed condition by his par|-owner and trainer. Miss R. F. Jackson, at her Fox road stabes. A swab taken by Wanganui veterinarians and sent to Wellington for identification has not yet been analysed. According to Miss Jackson some difficulty has been experienced in distinguishing the drug. Acis was given a working gallop after the EgmontWanganui Hunt Club's meeting at Wanganui on Tuesday and he came through it satisfactorily.
